3 Basic Ways to Increase Your Search Engine Rank

  • Inbound Links
  • Inbound links are one of the most cost effective ways to increase your website's rank

Inbound links are simply links on another page that direct a customer to your page. Search engines, like Google, see these links and then will increase your page rank.

It seems easy enough, but how do you get more inbound links to your site? While there are several ways to get inbound links, one of the easiest methods is to ask other sites to link their site to yours. BUT, be careful, make sure that the site is relative to yours or else your page rank will be lowered.

  • Keywords
  • Everyone knows that the more words that your site includes about your business the higher page rank that you will have. Although, this is true there are things to watch for.

The first is that graphics do not count for the page rank.If your site is graphics only then the search engine will not recognize your keywords. The best way to avoid this is to have text pages with keywords which will be picked up by a search engine.

The second catch is keyword spamming. If you list your keywords over and over again in ways that don't make sense, search engines will recognize this and quickly drop your page rank. So be careful when using your keywords and don't get carried away.

  • Pay-Per-Click
  • Pay-Per-Click links are the links that appear on the right hand side of search engines. Basically, they are links that business pay for so that their site will be found by potential costumers. However, businesses only pay for the amount of times someone clicks on the link, thereby only paying for the amount of costumers coming to their site. Pay-Per-Click links are one of the easiest ways to increase traffic to your site.

Just by following these simple guidelines, your business and website will take off to new heights. More importantly, all of these tips are very easy and affordable to do saving you the risk of losing time and money.
